Peek Into The Past, Texas History Family Day

Come to The Pearl Fincher Museum to explore our area’s past with interactive booths hosted by the Sam Houston Heritage Society, Spring Historical Museum, San Jacinto Museum, Southern Apache Museum, American Indian Center of Houston, The American Indian Genocide Museum and The National Museum of Funeral History.

Walk through our galleries featuring two artists that capture Texas history, Lee Jamison and José Cisneros.

This family friendly event inside the museum will run from 10 am - 2 pm with free historical crafts, a candle making demonstration, and presentations scheduled throughout including a Pioneer Trunk Show at 11 am and the Apache Creation Story and Flute Performance at 12pm.

This event is free and open to the public. Donations help us as a non-profit art museum continue to provide community programs like this!
