Patriot Day 9/11 Remembrance at American Legion Post 164 in Katy

The Katy community is coming together to remember and honor those lost on September 11, 2001, during a Patriot Day Remembrance Event hosted by American Legion Post 164. This family-friendly gathering will take place on Wednesday, September 11, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 22125 Kingsland Blvd., Katy, TX 77450.

Guests of all ages are invited to meet local Katy first responders, including firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and constables, who will be on site to engage with the community. Interactive presentations will be available for both adults and children, making this an event of education, remembrance, and appreciation.

Alongside the solemn remembrance, there will also be opportunities to connect with neighbors and enjoy family fun, featuring:

• Fresh cookies and popcorn
• Games for all ages
• Hands-on learning activities with first responders
• Special recognition of veterans and their service

This annual event not only pays tribute to the victims and heroes of 9/11 but also provides a meaningful way for Katy families to show support for local first responders and the American Legion Post 164 Family, who continue their mission of service to the nation and the community.
