Parade of Lights by Texas Volunteer Firefighter Relief Fund
16000 Rippling Water Drive
Houston ,TX 77084
Get ready to kick off the holiday season in Cy-Fair with the return of the Parade of Lights on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at 6:00 PM. This beloved tradition, featuring local firefighters and their brilliantly lit fire trucks, will brighten the streets of Northwest Houston, bringing holiday cheer to families of all ages. The parade, which begins at Bear Creek United Methodist Church (16000 Rippling Water Dr.) and ends at Cy-Falls High School (Huffmeister and Tuckerton), is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit.
The Parade of Lights is a spectacular event, with fire trucks, vehicles, and apparatus adorned in dazzling lights and decorations. One of the most exciting highlights is the appearance of Santa Claus himself, who will be riding atop a fire engine, waving to the crowd and spreading festive joy to children and families. This heartwarming parade has been a local favorite for over 27 years, and it's not just about the lights—it's about coming together as a community to celebrate the season and show support for our local volunteer firefighters.
In addition to the stunning light displays, the parade also serves a noble cause: raising funds for the Texas Volunteer Firefighter Relief Fund (TVFFRF), which provides essential financial assistance to volunteer firefighters facing catastrophic events. This event offers a unique chance to support those who selflessly protect our communities while also enjoying the festive atmosphere. The Apparatus Muster, where fire departments compete for the title of "Best of the Best," adds a fun and competitive element to the festivities. So, gather your family, enjoy the lights, and help raise awareness and funds for a cause that supports those who give so much to keep us safe. Don’t miss this magical evening of lights, music, and community spirit!
