Owl Express at McGown Elementary

Sue McGown Elementary is rolling out the red carpet for its newest students at the Owl Express, an engaging welcome event for newly registered Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten families. Happening May 5, from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m., this interactive experience will help young learners and their parents prepare for a smooth transition into school life.

Hosted in collaboration with the McGown Elementary VIPS (Volunteers in Public Schools) Parent Page, a community-focused group supporting student success, the Owl Express is designed to offer both fun and information in a relaxed setting.

• Pick up the official 2025 school supply list for PK and Kindergarten
• Hop aboard a real school bus for a first-time ride experience
