Murph Challenge at Candy Cane Park

Fitness meets patriotism at the Murph Challenge 2025, happening May 26 at 7 a.m. at Candy Cane Park. Hosted by Congressman Morgan Luttrell, this high-intensity workout event honors fallen Navy SEAL Lt. Michael P. Murphy, a Medal of Honor recipient who made the ultimate sacrifice during Operation Red Wings.

Morgan Luttrell, a Navy SEAL himself and now a U.S. Congressman, completes this workout every year in memory of his friend and fellow warrior. The Murph Challenge has become a nationwide Memorial Day tradition, testing both mental and physical endurance while paying tribute to military heroes.

• 1-mile run
• 100 pull-ups
• 200 push-ups
• 300 squats
• 1-mile run (again!)

The event welcomes athletes of all fitness levels, including a modified Murph Challenge for kids ages 10 and up. Whether you're a seasoned CrossFit athlete or just starting your fitness journey, this is a chance to come together in community and purpose.
