The Lou Sargeant III Memorial Lawn Mower Races & Kart Races at O.D. Tucker Arena in Rosenberg deliver exactly the kind of offbeat fair fun that gets people talking all week. It is one of the liveliest sports-style events in Fort Bend County this weekend and a good fit for families looking for something playful, noisy and unmistakably local.
Souped-up mowers race through the arena while spectators settle in for a full afternoon of cheering, laughter and bragging rights. The addition of Power Wheels races for kids makes the event even more family-friendly and gives younger attendees something to watch for besides the main competition.
