Katy's Annual Siebert Family Fireworks Show: America's 250th Celebration
1603 Norwalk Drive
Katy ,TX 77450
Families across Katy and West Houston are once again invited to gather for one of the community's longstanding Independence Day traditions as Dr. Jim Siebert and family present their annual Fourth of July fireworks celebration honoring America's 250th anniversary.
Known for drawing large crowds each year, the event features an evening of patriotic music, community fellowship and a professionally produced fireworks display. Music begins at 7 p.m. with DJ Mike Watson of D&Co Entertainment LLC, followed by the fireworks show at approximately 9 p.m.
This year's celebration is dedicated to the memory of Shaun Kallis, recognizing his lasting impact on those who knew him.
The fireworks display is conducted by James (Jim) Siebert, a licensed pyrotechnic display operator who is professionally licensed and certified by the states of Texas and Colorado, as well as the Pyrotechnics Guild International. The event is also permitted through Harris County, providing attendees with the assurance that the display is professionally organized and conducted in accordance with applicable safety regulations.
Beyond the fireworks themselves, the event reflects the spirit behind "America the Beautiful," the beloved patriotic poem written by Katharine Lee Bates after her visit to the summit of Pikes Peak in 1893. Dr. Siebert has shared that the poem's themes of unity, compassion, responsible citizenship and striving toward the nation's highest ideals have long inspired the annual celebration.
