Katy ISD National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

Katy ISD is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) once again for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on April 26. The event aims to help keep the community safe by providing an easy, secure way to dispose of unused, expired, or unwanted prescription medications.

• Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025
• Time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Locations: Katy ISD Law Enforcement Center & Katy ISD Police South Substation

• Unused, expired, or unwanted prescription medications
• Medications must be in their original prescribed containers for liquids
• Note: Needles and other sharp objects will not be accepted

Since its inception, National Prescription Drug Take Back Day has helped collect over 17 million pounds of unused medications nationwide. This event is a great opportunity for residents to properly dispose of medications, preventing misuse and promoting public health. For more information, visit www.dea.gov/takebackday.
