Brighten the day for some assisted living residents in honor of Father's Day! Avanti Senior Living at Towne Lake (Cypress area) has asked us to bring our classic cars on Saturday, June 17.
Avanti is calling this event a "Car Show", but there will not be a competition nor is there any fee to bring your classic car. Just a low-key meetup with refreshments for those who bring their classic cars.
It will be kind of tight parking in front of the entrance, but with some planning, we can hold about 20-25 classic cars in the front parking area. Those who promise to stay for the entire event will have the front row, prime parking spots. We have another area in the front lot for those who can show up later or need to leave early. There is even more overflow parking on the street if we have more than 25 attending.
June 17 is our normal third Saturday of the month meetup in the evening, but we will be considering this our meetup for June.
Any vehicle *25 years old or older* is welcome to join us.
No loud music, no revving engines, and no demonstrations of acceleration.
