
Dia de los Muertos Celebration and Art Market

The Pearl’s third annual Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration will take place on Saturday, October 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the museum. This family-friendly event is free of charge and will be filled with activities for all ages.
Performances throughout the day will include Ballet Folklorico, Aztec Dance, and mariachi music. Art stations will allow guests to create traditional Latin American art such as sugar skull masks, Marigold paper sculptures, and monarch butterfly crafts.
Guests are encouraged to dress in traditional costumes and bring photos of loved ones to contribute to an Ofrenda on-site.
As part of the event, an outdoor Art Market is also planned with items for sale by local artists. Artists who would like to exhibit and sell their work are welcome to apply by contacting Grace Mussell at gracepfmfa@gmail.com or 281-376-6322.
