The CURE-ageous 5K Fun Run/Walk is coming to Cross Creek West in Fulshear on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, uniting the community for an inspiring morning of fitness, awareness, and support.
Participants are encouraged to run for a good cause, as every step matters. Together, the community can make a significant impact in the fight against Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC).
This family-friendly event not only promotes general breast cancer awareness but also shines a spotlight on the IBC Network Foundation, founded by survivor Terry Arnold. After her own diagnosis, Arnold dedicated her life to educating others and building a proactive foundation to fund groundbreaking research and provide vital education.
The mission of the IBC Network Foundation is simple yet powerful:
- Fund research focused on Inflammatory Breast Cancer.
- Provide proactive education about IBC to the public and the medical community.
Participants will enjoy a scenic 5K course through Cross Creek West’s trails, along with:
- Food trucks with tasty bites available for purchase
- Family activities and entertainment for all ages
- Local vendors and sponsor booths
- Special appearance by law enforcement and K9 Blu
- Exploration of Cross Creek West’s beautiful model homes and community center

- Race-day pickup from 7:00 AM – 7:50 AM before the start of the run
