Creative Mixer Filmmaking Course

Discover the world of filmmaking with the Creative Mixer Filmmaking Course, offered in partnership with Six Pixels Studio and Katy Parks and Rec. Starting on April 1st, 2025, this engaging course will be held every Tuesday at Woodsland Park Community Center at 4:30 PM, providing students with a unique hands-on experience in movie production.

• Movie Making: Learn the fundamentals of creating your own short films, from script to screen.
• Editing: Gain practical skills in video editing and post-production techniques.
• Acting: Get an introduction to the basics of acting, including scene preparation and performance.
• Creative Photography: Master the art of storytelling through photography.
• Stop Motion & Special Effects: Experiment with stop motion animation and special effects techniques.
• YouTube Production: Explore content creation and production for YouTube.

Students will be challenged to incorporate these newly learned skills into their own projects, with classes building upon each week's lessons. Classes run weekly through May 20th, 2025, with students able to join at any time, depending on availability.
