Each year for the past 7 years, Copperbrook HOA has participated in the National Night Out event in October. This is an event that was started by Deputy Sandeep Dhaliwal and Copperbrook in an effort to build a partnership with neighbors and law enforcement. The event was first attended by 50 homeowners and soon grew to more than 1,000 attendees. We quickly found our sponsor, HC MUD #130, and we moved the event to the Charles W. Austin Park in order to help us promote safer communities within the district and communities outside of our district.
This year the event will take place at our newly constructed David Cooney Pavilion at the Charles W. Austin Park, and we would like to extend to you an invitation to be a part of our growing event. Our goal is to have over 1000 residents and deputies from various districts with festivities starting at 1:00 pm for a Pavilion Ceremony leading to the start of National Night Out from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
We hope you can join us and be part of such a wonderful event which brings many families together while showing support to our law enforcement. Last year, our event was attended by over 1000 residents from Copperbrook, Hanover, Villages of Hanover, MUD 130, MUD 179, Troop 277 Boy Scouts and Copperfield residents along with our local Sheriff Dept Deputies, HAZMAT officers and Deputy Sandeep Dhaliwal family who helped us organize our event.
