Christmas in the Bend Kickoff Celebration

Christmas in the Bend kicks off the holiday season in historic Richmond with an evening that feels like a classic small-town Christmas movie. Neighbors fill City Hall Park Plaza for the City of Richmond Farmers Market – Christmas Edition, the big tree lighting, and a Community Christmas Walk through the historic district.
The night starts with the most festive market of the year, featuring more than 30 local vendors, live music, food and holiday treats. At 6 p.m., the city’s Christmas tree is lit at Morton Street and South 5th, followed by the Community Christmas Walk, when historic homes and downtown businesses open their doors for cozy celebrations, a gingerbread house competition and a family movie in Wessendorf Park.
