CERT Training at LSC-CyFair

Join the Cy-Fair CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) for a comprehensive, hands-on emergency response and disaster preparedness training at LSC-CyFair. Starting on April 29, CERT Training Class 43 is a team-based program held every Tuesday evening from 6:15 PM to 9:30 PM for 9 weeks.

• Fire Prevention and Safety
• Emergency Medical Triage and Wound Care
• Disaster Medical Treatment and Patient Transport
• Search and Rescue Operations
• Disaster Psychology and Well-Being
• Terrorism Awareness

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a CERT certificate and a photo ID, enabling them to register for future CERT-supported training events.

This program is taught by professional first responders, including Fire, EMS, and CERT members, as well as HAM Radio experts. Participants will gain practical experience with fire suppression, medical triage, and search and rescue in live training scenarios.
