Butterfly Garden Volunteer Day

Volunteers are invited to contribute to the maintenance of the butterfly and hummingbird garden at Dennis Johnston Park. This opportunity is dedicated to enhancing pollinator education through a well-maintained native garden. Volunteers will assist with regular upkeep, ensuring the garden remains aesthetically pleasing while providing a habitat and food for both pollinator insects and birds.

All tools will be supplied, and participants are encouraged to wear outdoor-appropriate clothing, close-toed shoes, and bring a refillable water bottle. The event welcomes individuals aged 7 and older. A welcome email will be distributed to participants two days prior to the event with further details.
