Beyond Bees at Mercer Botanic Gardens

Dive into the incredible world of bees at Beyond Bees, a free educational program hosted by Mercer Botanic Gardens on September 19 from 9:00 to 10:15 AM. This family-friendly event is ideal for nature lovers ages 5 and up and offers a unique opportunity to explore the lives of native bees, carpenter bees, and honeybees.

• A presentation on bee behavior, social structures, and pollination
• A close-up view of active honeybee hives led by a Texas Master Beekeeper
• Insight into how bees impact ecosystems and gardens
• Indoor session — meet inside the Mercer Visitor Center

Participants are encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes and bring a refillable water bottle. Texas Master Gardeners and Texas Master Naturalists may count attendance toward Advanced Training or CEU hours.
