Austin Museum Day at the AACHF brings the African American Cultural and Heritage Facility in Austin into focus with an afternoon centered on the life and legacy of Bevis M. Griffin.
Co-hosted with the Austin History Center, the program includes an art installation inside the Dedrick-Hamilton House and a panel discussion exploring Griffin’s impact on Austin and Texas music, culture, entrepreneurship, and advocacy. It offers the kind of thoughtful Museum Day stop that feels rooted in local history while still carrying the energy of Austin’s music story.
