Join us at Rob Fleming Park for Arts in the Park: Shakespeare in the Park!

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Arts in the Park presents Shakespeare in the Parkwill feature a live theatre performance of Hamlet, by Points North Theatre Company and The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra Brass and Percussion.

Other activities include children's arts and crafts, face painting, local vendors and entertainers, Renaissance themed youth and adult costume contests and much more! 

Event Schedule:
Renaissance Costume Contests :
  • There will be two Costume Contest categories: Youth (12 and under) and Adult (13 and older)
  • Costume Contests will take place at 5:30 p.m. 
  • There will be a maximum of 25 participants per contest. 
  • Participants will receive a number in the Costume Contest Corral and wear it until the end of the contest.
  • Prizes will be awarded to the top costume per contest (Youth and Adult). 
  • Costumes must be appropriately themed, and family-friendly. Please no Halloween costumes, or others that do not fit the Renaissance era.
Food Vendors:

  • Limited space is available. Applications are due Friday, September 20, 2024;
  • Apply here;
Parking:
  • Parking will be available at Creekside Forest Elementary School;
  • The Trail Head to the George Mitchell Nature Preserve;
  • Rob Fleming Aquatic Center;
  • And the pond adjacent to Rob Fleming Park;
  • Dedicated accessible parking is located in the parking lot of the Lodge (6055 Creekside Forest Drive) with a valid placard or license plate;
  • The parking lot of the Lodge will be reserved for accessible parking, sponsors, entertainers and vendors only;
  • Parking along Creekside Forest Drive is strongly discouraged;

Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited
