The 4th Annual Genealogy Marathon and Heritage Expo brings a full day of family history discovery to Lone Star College-Tomball Community Library in Tomball.
Throughout the day, guests can move between speakers, heritage society tables, museum and library displays, artifact exhibits, and research support in a setting built for conversation and learning. The Community Engagement Area will feature genealogy and history organizations sharing information about their work, while the library’s genealogy materials and databases offer plenty of room for deeper research. Local FamilySearch volunteers will be available all day, and visitors can also tour the Chaparral Collection and DigStation, watch digitization demonstrations, or scan a few personal items of their own.
For anyone searching for things to do in Tomball, educational events in Tomball, or genealogy events near Houston, this all-day program offers a welcoming mix of expert guidance, heritage exploration, and community connection. Some exclusive presentations will only be available on the day of the event, and some onsite sessions will not be recorded, so early planning can help attendees make the most of the experience.
