Celebrate Fall and Community at The Brookwood Community's Annual Fall Fest
As fall approaches with its crisp, cool air and vibrant colors, The Brookwood Community is inviting you to partake in their annual Fall Fest from September 5-7, an event promising a mix of style, pumpkin spice, and a lot more.
The Brookwood Community, located just outside of Katy in Brookshire, provides adults with disabilities - or 'Citizens' as they are fondly referred to - with a sense of meaning and purpose. Since its inception in 1983, Brookwood has grown to be a sanctuary for over 200 Citizens working across various enterprises at their main campus in Brookshire and satellite locations in Richmond and The Woodlands. The 485-acre facility, alive with camaraderie, focuses on the holistic development of their Citizens through fitness activities, worship services, healthcare facilities, and of course, their celebrated community events like the upcoming Fall Fest.
Staged at the Brookwood Gift & Garden Center, this autumn extravaganza invites patrons from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, featuring an array of vibrant fall blooms and handcrafted treasures created by Brookwood's talented Citizens. Over 40 local vendors like Acorn’s For Angel’s, Austin Hanson Art, and B’Dazzled are expected, offering everything from tasty treats to chic accessories.

While browsing, guests can enjoy a wine and beer bar tucked away in the Garden for a serene, outdoor experience. The award-winning Brookwood Cafe will showcase a scrumptious buffet from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM featuring dishes like chicken fried steak, honey glazed chicken, brussel sprouts with bacon, and a beignet station, which is a must-try.
