Residents in Tomball and surrounding northwest Houston communities have a new destination for dessert just in time for summer.

Bruster’s Real Ice Cream officially opened its newest Houston-area location on May 15, 2026 at 25555 Tomball Pkwy, Tomball, TX 77377 near the intersection of SH 249 and the Grand Parkway, bringing the brand’s signature fresh-made ice cream and family-focused atmosphere to one of the region’s fastest-growing areas.

For families in Tomball, Magnolia, Cypress, The Woodlands and nearby neighborhoods, the new location adds another locally operated gathering spot where residents can stop in after school events, youth sports games, family dinners or weekend outings.

The new store is owned and operated by the Martinez family, whose growing presence in the Houston-area ice cream scene now includes four Bruster’s locations across Spring, Tomball and Conroe.

A Growing Presence in Northwest Houston

The Tomball opening reflects continued residential and commercial growth along the SH 249 and Grand Parkway corridor, an area that has rapidly expanded with new neighborhoods, retail centers and family-oriented destinations in recent years.

The Martinez family’s existing Bruster’s Real Ice Cream locations include:

  • 7939 Louetta Road in Spring
  • 4836 FM 1488 in Conroe
  • 12891 Highway 105 West in Conroe

With the addition of the Tomball store, more families in northwest Harris County and southern Montgomery County now have convenient access to Bruster’s fresh-made desserts closer to home.

“We are thrilled to open our fourth Bruster’s location and bring our fresh-made ice cream to the Tomball community,” said Greg Martinez, owner and operator of the new store. “Our family has proudly served the Houston area for more than two decades, and we look forward to creating memorable experiences for families and friends for years to come.”

What Makes Bruster’s Real Ice Cream Stand Out

Founded in 1989 by Bruce Reed, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream has grown into one of the nation’s largest premium ice cream franchises, with more than 200 independently owned locations across the United States, as well as stores in Guyana and South Korea.

Each Bruster’s location uses a proprietary ice cream mix produced at the company’s dairy facility in Bridgewater, Pennsylvania, with small-batch ice cream and frozen desserts made fresh daily on-site.

The Tomball store offers more than 24 rotating flavors daily from a menu of more than 150 recipes. Popular flavors include Butter Pecan, Chocolate Raspberry Truffle, Black Cherry and Graham Central Station.

Guests can also order:

  • Sundaes
  • Milkshakes
  • Banana splits
  • Waffle cones
  • Ice cream blasts
  • Ice cream cakes and pies
  • Take-home pints and quarts

The location also offers non-dairy options and sherbets, helping accommodate a variety of tastes and dietary preferences for families visiting together.

Designed for Convenience in a Busy Corridor

The new Tomball Bruster’s includes both walk-up and drive-thru service, a feature likely to appeal to busy families navigating the increasingly active SH 249 and Grand Parkway area.

As Tomball continues to attract new residents and businesses, community-centered destinations like Bruster’s often become part of the routines that help neighborhoods feel connected — whether it’s a stop after Little League practice, a summer evening treat with neighbors or a place for families to gather after community events.

The store’s hours are:

  • Monday through Thursday: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Friday through Sunday: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

For Tomball-area residents, the newest location brings another family-friendly business to one of the region’s fastest-growing community hubs heading into the busy summer season.
