Big City Wings Opens in Cypress, Bringing Signature Comfort Food and Sports Bar Vibes to Tuckerton Road
Big City Wings, one of Houston’s favorite go-to spots for bold flavors and game-day gatherings, has opened its newest location at 20330 Tuckerton Rd., Cypress, TX 77433 between Bridgeland and Towne Lake in the Cypress Creek Lakes neighborhood. The Cypress restaurant, which officially opened on May 29, 2025, marks the 14th location for the fast-growing brand, continuing its expansion across Greater Houston with additional sites in Fulshear (Jordan Ranch) and La Marque on the horizon later this year.
Known as H-Town’s original wing joint, Big City Wings has built a loyal fanbase since launching in Atascocita in 2015. The brand serves up a wide-ranging menu of fresh, made-to-order wings, burgers, sandwiches, salads, loaded fries, and indulgent desserts—all in a lively, family-friendly sports bar environment.
A Menu Built for Flavor Cravings and Big Appetites
Whether you're visiting for a family night out, casual dinner, or to catch the big game, the Big City Wings experience is designed to please. The menu starts with attention-grabbing appetizers like the City Wide Sampler—featuring boneless wings, mac and cheese blocks, fried pickles, cheese sticks, and waffle fries. Creative bites like “Tachos” (tater tot nachos) and “White Wings” (jalapeños stuffed with spicy ranch chicken, wrapped in bacon) add flair to traditional bar fare.
Of course, the wings take center stage. Available in both bone-in and boneless options, they're tossed in over 20 signature sauces and rubs, ranging from the zesty Honey Citrus to the fiery Buffalo Extra Hot, as well as unique dry rubs like Tajín and Cool Ranch.

For heartier appetites, the Blockbuster Burger—a towering double-patty creation—is a standout. Fans of sweet and savory will appreciate the Chicken & Waffle Sandwich, and those seeking a lighter touch can choose from a variety of salads topped with grilled chicken, spicy ranch, and avocado.
The drink and dessert menus keep the fun going, offering signature cocktails like the tropical Blue Storm and decadent treats such as Fried Oreos and the Brownie Cake Bomb.
Sports, Specials, and Community Appeal
Every Big City Wings location is fully equipped with wall-to-wall big-screen TVs, offering non-stop access to NBA, NFL, MLB, UFC, and even WWE broadcasts. The Cypress location continues this tradition, cementing itself as a go-to neighborhood hangout for sports fans.
Daily specials add extra value, with crowd favorites like the “2 for Tuesday” wing deal and weekday lunch specials from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Happy Hour runs Monday through Saturday, 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., making it an ideal stop for after-work gatherings.

Families are also welcome, with the "Lil Cluckers" kids’ menu available for children 12 and under. Big City Wings makes a point to offer vegan-friendly appetizers and is happy to prepare vegetable-based entrees upon request.
Behind the Brand: Houston Roots and Growing Ambitions
Big City Wings is owned and operated by JCJ Texmex, LLC, a Houston-based restaurant group founded in 2009. Led by Director of Operations Sam Elsaadi, the company also owns Wings N More and Mucho Mexico. In recent years, JCJ Texmex expanded its Tex-Mex offerings by acquiring La Finca Mexican Restaurants, a Katy and Fulshear staple since 1995.
The group’s commitment to quality, variety, and community has earned Big City Wings recognition across Texas. In 2022, the Texas Restaurant Association awarded the brand the People’s Choice Golden Fork Award, further cementing its reputation as a customer favorite.
Expanding the Big City Experience
With the opening of its Cypress location, Big City Wings continues to build momentum. Upcoming restaurant openings in Fulshear’s Jordan Ranch and La Marque promise to bring the brand’s signature wings, sports, and family-friendly atmosphere to even more Houston-area neighborhoods.
