Bari Ristorante Expanding to The Woodlands with Elegant New Location at Waterway Square
A new chapter of elevated Italian cuisine is coming to The Woodlands as Bari Hospitality Group officially announces the highly anticipated opening of Bari Ristorante’s second location at 24 Waterway Avenue, in the heart of the Waterway Square District.
Known for its immersive dining experience, impeccable service, and modern take on traditional Italian fare, Bari Ristorante has become a standout in the Houston dining scene — and now, its signature style is set to make waves in the North Houston suburbs. Slated to open in early 2026, the new location promises to deliver the same high standards that have earned Bari its reputation, while introducing a fresh flair tailored to the sophisticated tastes of The Woodlands community.
Open seven days a week for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch, Bari Ristorante – Woodlands will offer a captivating blend of classic and contemporary dishes served with dramatic table-side presentations. With 200 seats, the stylish space is inspired by the chic glamour of Milan and Rome, offering a refined yet welcoming ambiance that reflects Bari’s Italian roots.

At the helm of the kitchen is Certified Master Italian Chef Renato De Pirro, whose 30 years of experience in fine dining both in Italy and across the U.S. inform every dish. “From the mountains to the sea,” Chef De Pirro’s culinary approach reflects a deep respect for seasonal ingredients and authentic Italian traditions. Guests can expect everything from semolina flour to cheeses and tomatoes to be either imported from Italy or locally sourced — with every dish made in-house.
Signature dishes making their way from Bari’s River Oaks District menu to The Woodlands include the crowd-pleasing Truffle Pasta, finished in a Parmigiano Reggiano cheese wheel and topped with freshly shaved truffles; the Branzino al Sale, a Mediterranean seabass baked in rock salt and served with seasonal vegetables and salmoriglio dressing; and the luxurious Chateaubriand, a center-cut filet flambéed table-side after being cooked in a pizza oven. The Woodlands menu will also feature an expanded selection of premium meat cuts, offering something new for even the most seasoned Bari fans.
To finish, diners can indulge in a sweet Italian classic like the Pistachio Tiramisu, garnished with toasted pistachios — a final note in a dining experience designed to be both unforgettable and indulgent.
