Advertising Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 10/01/2025
By submitting an advertising order, payment, or creative materials to My Neighborhood News, LLC (“MNN,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you (“Advertiser”) agree to the following Advertising Terms and Conditions. Checking “I agree to the advertising terms and authorize this payment” during checkout constitutes your full acceptance of these terms.
1. Advertising Services
My Neighborhood News provides digital advertising opportunities across its online platforms, newsletters, and affiliated media channels. These placements may include, but are not limited to, banner ads, sponsored content, community listings, and digital promotions.
2. No Guarantee of Performance or Results
Advertiser understands and agrees that:
• My Neighborhood News does not guarantee any specific results, return on investment (ROI), engagement, or revenue from any advertising placement.
• Audience size, views, impressions, clicks, and related metrics may vary and are not warranted or promised.
• All advertising services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
3. Content and Approval
Advertiser is responsible for providing complete and accurate advertising materials by the published deadlines.
My Neighborhood News reserves the right to reject, edit, or remove any advertisement that, in its sole discretion, is misleading, offensive, or inconsistent with our editorial standards or community values.
If MNN assists with ad design, Advertiser is responsible for reviewing and approving the final version prior to publication. Once approved, MNN is not liable for typographical or design errors.
4. Payment and Billing
Payment is due in full at the time of order unless otherwise stated in writing by My Neighborhood News.
All advertising sales are final and non-refundable once submitted and processed. Late or failed payments may result in immediate suspension of advertising placement.
5. Placement and Scheduling
My Neighborhood News will make reasonable efforts to place advertisements in accordance with the Advertiser’s requested schedule and placement preferences. However, no specific placement, timing, or positioning is guaranteed, and adjustments may be made at MNN’s discretion to optimize layout and performance.
6. Communications
All communications between Advertiser and My Neighborhood News may be conducted electronically (via email or online portal).
Advertiser acknowledges that My Neighborhood News is not required to meet in person before, during, or after the advertising campaign.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
• My Neighborhood News’s total liability for any claim arising out of or related to advertising services shall not exceed the amount paid by Advertiser for the specific campaign in question.
• My Neighborhood News shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, loss of business, or reputational harm.
8. Indemnification
Advertiser agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless My Neighborhood News, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:
• The content, images, or claims contained in Advertiser’s materials; or
• Any alleged infringement of third-party rights related to the advertisement.
9. Modification and Termination
My Neighborhood News may update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. The version in effect at the time of checkout or renewal shall govern.
MNN reserves the right to suspend or terminate any advertising that violates these terms or applicable laws.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Acceptance
By checking the box labeled “I agree to the advertising terms and authorize this payment” during checkout, the Advertiser:
• Confirms that they have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
• Authorizes payment for the selected advertising services.
• Agrees to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.
