8th Annual Rosenberg Arts Alliance Car Show to Roll Into Historic Downtown
When the streets of Historic Downtown Rosenberg fill with polished chrome and revving engines this September, it will be more than just a car show—it will be a celebration of artistry, history, and community.
The Rosenberg Arts Alliance will host the 8th Annual Ride to Rosenberg Car Show on Saturday, September 6, beginning at 10 a.m. Participants can register and set up between 8 and 10 a.m., with vehicles ranging from timeless classics to unique collector cars on display.
This event has become a signature tradition for the city, attracting more than 150 collector vehicles and drawing as many as 1,500 visitors each year. Organizers say that some participants are so dedicated that they arrive hours before sunrise to secure their favorite spots.

But the car show is just the beginning. Downtown Rosenberg is home to more than 40 locally owned shops and restaurants, offering everything from antiques and boutique clothing to handmade art and refurbished furniture. Visitors can stroll the historic streets while enjoying live music from a DJ in the park and a local band playing along the sidewalk between Avenue G and Third Street.
Food is always a highlight of the day. Alongside restaurants serving tacos and Blue Bell ice cream, this year’s lineup of food trucks includes Rob’s Mini Donuts, Cousins Maine Lobster, Loco Snowcones, and TEX-y-CANO. The event will also feature a special demonstration from K9 Officers, a nonprofit organization that trains service dogs for police departments—including many right here in Rosenberg.
The car show is hosted by the Rosenberg Arts Alliance, a coalition of downtown merchants dedicated to enriching the cultural and creative life of the community. The Alliance has long served as a hub for theater, dining, shopping, and artistic events that bring residents and visitors together. Sponsors for this year’s event include Bill Butler, Janice Vyoral, State Farm Insurance, and Legacy Ford, along with many downtown businesses.

Rosenberg itself carries a rich history, named after Henry von Rosenberg, a Swiss immigrant who came to Texas in 1843 and became President of the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railroad. His legacy of community-building is still evident today in the city’s thriving downtown, where neighbors gather to celebrate traditions like the car show.
Whether you’re a car enthusiast, a history buff, or just looking for a fun family day out, the 8th Annual Rosenberg Arts Alliance Car Show promises something for everyone.
