810 Billiards & Bowling Plans Major Entertainment Venue in Northeast Austin

Austin  /  Austin
June 12 2026

As more families and businesses move into Northeast Austin, plans are underway for a new entertainment venue designed to bring a variety of activities under one roof.

Construction records show that 810 Billiards & Bowling is planning a significant renovation project at 4107 E. Yager Lane, Building 1, Suite 125, near Parmer Lane and Samsung's expanding Austin campus. The project involves a 23,000-square-foot interior build-out of an existing commercial space, transforming it into a large-scale family entertainment venue with an estimated construction cost of $1 million.

According to project filings, work is scheduled to begin in August 2026 with anticipated completion in June 2027. The renovation includes architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical improvements to accommodate the entertainment complex.

For residents of Northeast Austin and surrounding communities, the project represents another sign of continued investment in an area that has experienced rapid growth over the past decade. New entertainment options often serve as gathering places for families, friends, youth sports teams, corporate events, and community celebrations, helping create destinations closer to home rather than requiring residents to travel across the city.

What Is 810 Billiards & Bowling?

Founded as an upscale entertainment concept that blends bowling with dining and social recreation, 810 Billiards & Bowling has expanded across multiple states with locations in Texas, South Carolina, Florida, Arizona, Kansas, Virginia, New Jersey, Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, and California. The company is headquartered in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and continues to grow nationally through both company-owned and franchise-operated venues.

The Austin location is currently listed by the company as "Coming Soon", joining another Texas location already operating in downtown Houston and a planned future location in Richmond.

Unlike traditional bowling alleys, 810 locations are designed as full entertainment centers that combine multiple attractions under one roof. Based on company information, guests can expect a variety of activities that may include:

  • Bowling lanes
  • Arcade games
  • Axe throwing
  • Billiards
  • Bocce
  • Darts
  • Laser tag
  • Mini golf
  • Ping pong
  • Shuffleboard
  • Sports simulators
  • Private event and party spaces

The combination of attractions is intended to appeal to a wide range of visitors, from families with children to young professionals, corporate groups, and recreational leagues.

Food and Drinks Part of the Experience

Beyond games and entertainment, 810 locations also operate extensive food and beverage programs that function more like a restaurant than a traditional bowling snack bar.

Menu offerings at existing locations include shareable appetizers, wings, burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, nachos, tacos, salads, chicken tenders, and family-friendly meal options. The menu features items such as loaded nachos, buffalo chicken pizza, specialty burgers, wings with multiple sauce choices, quesadillas, and handheld sandwiches.

That combination of dining and entertainment has become increasingly popular as consumers seek destinations where groups can eat, socialize, and participate in activities without having to visit multiple venues.

Why the Location Matters

The proposed Austin site sits within one of the city's fastest-growing areas.

The East Yager Lane corridor has seen substantial commercial and residential development in recent years, fueled in part by major employers including Samsung and nearby technology companies. Thousands of new residents have moved into Northeast Austin, creating demand for additional dining, recreation, and entertainment options.

For families living in nearby neighborhoods, the addition of a large entertainment venue could provide another local option for birthday parties, family outings, youth celebrations, and weekend activities. For employers in the area, venues like 810 often become destinations for team-building events, holiday gatherings, and corporate functions.

The planned venue is another example of how Northeast Austin is evolving, with new entertainment and recreation options arriving alongside the area's growing neighborhoods and business centers.

What Happens Next?

The project remains in the renovation and development phase, with construction records indicating work could begin later this summer. If timelines remain on schedule, the venue could open sometime after project completion in 2027.

While final details about the Austin location's specific attractions and opening date have not yet been announced, residents can expect additional information to emerge as construction progresses.

For Northeast Austin, the planned arrival of 810 Billiards & Bowling signals continued investment in creating destinations where residents can gather, celebrate, and spend time close to home—a trend that continues to reshape one of the city's fastest-growing areas.
