Get Money Back From Your Local Water Authority

May 08 2024

Did you know that eligible residents could get up to $300 back from the North Fort Bend Water Authority (NFBWA) through the Resident Water Conservation Rebate program?

This program allows for retail water providers to offer credits towards water bills for customers who decide to purchase and install high efficiency appliances and water-saving items. From eco-friendly sprinkler heads in your garden to the energy-efficient washing machine in your laundry room, there are numerous ways you can participate in this initiative.

By choosing to participate in the program, eligible residents have an opportunity to save up to $300 on their water bills! You can buy multiple items and each one contributes to your overall savings. The only requirement is to make sure that your retail water provider is participating in this initiative.

If you're ready to start conserving water and saving money, there are some steps you need to follow. After making your purchases, you must submit the Resident Water Conservation Rebate Form, along with dated and itemized receipts, photographs of the product, and if applicable, a copy of the plumber or installation receipt. All these documents need to be provided within 90 days of the purchase and installation.
